Dr. Emina’s Philosophy:
As a naturopathic physician, I practice functional, science-based naturopathic medicine. My approach to health is to start with the foundation: a healthy environment, good nutrition and regular exercise. In practice, I focus on removing toxicity, balancing nutrition, replenishing deficiencies and restoring optimal function. As every individual is unique, I treat the person and not the disease, using traditional and progressive naturopathic therapies, alone or combination, with conventional medicine in whatever capacity is best suited for healing to occur. It is my privilege as a doctor to educate patients about their health condition, lifestyle choices and medical options – to empower them to make the right choices for optimal health.
Areas of Medicine:
Dr. Emina has experience treating many health issues including: women’s health (in particular, fertility and menopause); endocrine imbalances (including diabetes, adrenal and thyroid dysfunction); gastrointestinal conditions; weight loss; cancer support and prevention; cardiovascular conditions; as well as allergies. Dr. Emina is passionate about environmental medicine in how our environment is directly interlaced with our overall health.
